It's the Birthday Month
Well, I now have 9 year old and 4 year old daughters. Everyone has had their birthday for the year. Today is Emily's 4th birthday. She had a Dora the Explorer Party on Sunday. Saturday was Kathryn's 9th birthday and she had a mystery slumber party on Friday and Saturday.
This is a picture of the girls and me (as the 97 year old grandmother) right after we solved the mystery of the missing ring!
Sarah and Kathryn sewed night caps for all the girls attending the party and I made nightshirts for them as a rememberance. It all went very well. Michael played the party of the butler and did an excellent job of hiding clues and keeping the game moving along.

Emily's cake was Dora (just like I made for Kathryn's 5th birthday) and she had some little friends over. This was her first real party in her life. (That's what happens when you're the third child...) I'm going to be putting pictures on Flickr of this also, but here's what we have for now.
